FCPS covers the first five counseling appointments only. Medication management, case management, and assessments are billed separately, whether through insurance or out-of-pocket, as outlined above.

Your first five are free through the EAP, plan ahead if you want to continue past that point.
The Fayette County Schools EAP is available to FCPS employees and their household family members, not just the employee themselves. That means a spouse, partner, or child in the household can also use the benefit for their own counseling needs.
If you do not attend a scheduled appointment or cancel within 24 hours, that appointment counts as one of your five EAP-covered sessions. Once your five sessions are used, additional no-shows or late cancellations are billed directly to you.
